Keeping Up With The Kardashians: Believe it or not I think I was more bugged with Kourtney than I was Scott. It was her sister’s birthday and she let her insufferable boyfriend ruin it. I was shocked that she even allowed him to get as far as sitting down at the table let alone choosing to be a bystander as he berated the wait staff. By that point I was pretty much frustrated with everyone at that dinner. The fact that not one person tried to get him out of that room was slightly irritating.

You might be wondering why all of my annoyance wasn’t aimed at Scott. I kind of agreed with him when, three sheets to the wind, he explained to Kim that Kourtney knew what she was getting herself into. She knew exactly what kind of guy she was mating with. We all know Scott’s a douche so his behavior couldn’t have come as a surprise to his baby’s mama. I’m not excusing his antics but at this point I’m more amused with the obnoxious character he chooses to play than I am bothered. Scott is the guy that James Spader’s character Steff from “Pretty in Pink” would have grown up to become. You just can’t take that kid seriously.

Real World: Oh this cast is driving me nuts!! I’ve gotten to the point where I’m only watching the newer seasons to try to decipher who will be the first to be booted off the next “Real World/Road Rules Challenge.”

Amazing Race: Rooting for Team Big Brother. Let’s just hope they don’t transform into ugly American’s any time soon ‘cause it’s always the pretty people that are the first to turn.

Big Love: Running for State Senate has got to be the most asinine move Bill has made thus far. Does he really think he’s gonna pull this one off?

Real Housewives of OC: Can we all gather around our computers and PRAY that Vicki will not return next season since it’s no longer any fun?

Super Bowl: I could spew out a laundry list of teams that I despise in the NFL but there is really only one team that I have always liked and that’s the New Orleans Saints. Don’t get me wrong I would never say that the Saints are “my team.” I just don’t really care about sports enough to have a team that I claim as my own. Nevertheless I cheered my heart out for the Saints on Sunday and I was very happy to see them take their first, well-deserved Lombardi home to the city of New Orleans.

With that said, the one thing I definitely look forward to every Super Bowl Sunday is the commercials. And the following was hands down my favorite. Why, you might ask? Let’s just say they had me at “I’ll watch your vampire TV shows with you.”

Ugly Betty: A good friend of mine surprised me with a gift at our Holiday Cocktail party last year. I squealed with excitement when I started opening the present and spotted a Guadalajara poncho under the snowflake covered wrapping paper. It was a Madame Alexander “Ugly Betty” doll. Unbeknownst to the gift giver I had received my very first Madame Alexander doll when I was only three years old and it is one of my most prized possessions to this day. My favorite part of receiving my “Ugly Betty” doll is that my friend instantly thought of me when she saw it. Because I too have a penchant for wearing loud ponchos…not!

I have to admit I’ve only written sporadically about the Suarez family over the past year or so, ‘cause let’s face it, the show hasn’t been quite the same since the first season. When I started watching the new season in the “Friday Night Death Slot” I sent one of my sisters a text telling her that I felt like I had just watched the last episode of “Ugly Betty.” It seemed as though everything was finally coming together for Betty Suarez. She was starting a new job as a Features Editor at the magazine. Hilda had finally convinced her to start sporting a new ‘do and to pluck the hell out of her eyebrows. She was also trying her damndest to finally utilize some of that Mode fashion advice she’d been gathering over the past 4 years. It was a new Betty, a more seasoned, more professional with-it Betty. I just kept thinking this has to be the perfect place for her story end. And I guess I was right because it looks like the show is getting canceled. Fortunately there is some good news; it appears as though the network will be giving the writers ample time to wrap up storylines and put together somewhat of a finale in May. Adios Betty, it was fun while it lasted.

The Bachelor: Am I crazy? I really don’t think that Vienna is that bad. She’s a little bragger but other than that what harm has the girl really done?

Real Housewives of OC: Is Lynne’s face still supposed to look like that? I’m guessing not since she is clearly still on her pain meds.

Lost: Did anyone happen to catch the new footage of the final season of “Lost” after last night’s episode of “Brothers & Sisters?” I’m trying to track it down so I can post it as soon as possible. If anyone finds it before me please post a link in the comments section below.

Meanwhile, here is a little food for thought while we wait for the big night. Is it all just a game?

The end is nigh my friends and I have to admit that I’m all a giddy with excitement. This has got to be the first time in my TV viewing history that I have EVER looked forward to seeing a show that I love come to an end. In order to prepare for the Season 6 premiere of “Lost” I thought it only appropriate to discuss some of the questions I would like answered before the big finale. Please feel free to add your questions to the comments section below or even your theories on possible answers to these questions.

I’ll start off with the question I have had since the first episode. What exactly is the Smoke Monster? We have been told that it is the security system for the island. But how does it operate and why does it have a different reaction to individuals (i.e. sparing Locke’s life and killing Mr. Eko)?

What is the significance of the infamous numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42?

How is baby Aaron tied to the island and is it a good or evil link?

What about Walt? There is too much mystery around this boy and his abilities for there not to be any further explanation. Yet so far there has been no indication that he is scheduled to appear in the last season.

Why was Hurley in the mental hospital the first time around? And what was Libby doing there as well?

What is the deal with Richard? Why hasn’t he aged over the past several decades and how did he get to the island…via Blackrock? More importantly, how can a girl get lashes like his, so thick and lush, I’d never have to wear eyeliner or mascara again.

What happened to Claire? If she is not dead, as the producers claim, then where in the hell is she and why is she walking around the island with her supposedly dead father?

Which leads us to the next question, is Christian dead?

Why can’t the women on the island stay pregnant and why does it always result in death?

What’s up with all the damn whispering on the island?

What happened to the statue? At the end of last season Ben told Sun that all that remained of the statue was a foot by the time he had arrived at the island in 1973.

Who has taken possession of Locke’s body? Presumably it is the man on the island that was seen conversating with Jacob at the beginning of the last episode “The Incident.”

Who made up all of “the rules” and why do they exist?

Only the leader can request an audience with Jacob.

There can be only one leader on the island at a time.

Widmore apparently changed “the rules” when he killed Ben’s daughter.

Widmore’s leaving the island on a regular basis and having a child with an outsider was also deemed against “the rules.”

According to Faraday “the rules” did not apply to Desmond.

Whoever is in control of Locke’s body found a loophole to “the rules” when he had Ben kill Jacob.

Why did Jacob visit the Oceanic 6 off of the island? And did he visit any of the other survivors?

Last but not least, will time be reset by setting off the nuke, if so by how far? Or is everyone pretty much doomed?

24: While the tech at CTU has received a massive upgrade the staff has received a significant downgrade. Mind you these are all minor quirks with the following characters but they are enough to drive me batty. Cole Ortiz’s constantly cocked eyebrow, Dana Walsh’s pretentiousness and Brian Hastings’ hunched back strut are working my last nerve and we are only on the fourth hour.

The Bachelor: Ali was my top pick after the first two episodes but yesterday’s attempt to rally the mean girls has me second guessing my selection. I’m hoping one of those roses they showed Jake burning in next week’s episode belongs to her.

Desperate Housewives: How long do you think it will take Susan to jump on the forgiveness bandwagon?

Human Target: If you’re characters name is going to be Guerrero please do the Latin community a favor and learn how to roll your R’s.

6:22 PM While they are announcing the Best Animated Feature Film nominees I’ll take the time to discuss Michael C. Hall and his head. Is he growing dreadlocks and are they going to be incorporated into the new season? Given how the season ended I wouldn’t be shocked to see Dexter return a little disheveled.

6:34 PM “Dexter” = 2 all other television drama’s = 0, Michael C. Hall is the Best Actor in a TV Series Drama.

6:37 PM And Julianna Margulies busted the streak by taking home the globe for Best Actress in a TV Series Drama for “The Good Wife.”

Chuck: I was a little worried that with the newest download of the Intersect Chuck was going to be transformed into all-badass-all-the-time and how that could possibly change the tone of the show. I’m relieved to find that there’s still a whole lotta Buy More Nerd Herd left in him.

Brothers & Sisters: Did I miss the part where they apparently explained IN DETAIL who the guy is that has been having Ryan sabotage Ojai Foods? Last night we got a CliffsNotes version of just who this dude might be, but I still feel like I’m missing a piece of the puzzle.

The Bachelor: I think the thing that bothers me the most about this show is all the damn screeching. I swear I’ve never seen so many “Woooo!” girls in one place.

After I ranted about what a complete waste of time watching “American Idol” is I’m here with my tail tucked between my legs to discuss TV gems such as “The Bachelor,” “Bad Girls Club,” and “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” Ya gotta love the hypocrisy.

The Bachelor: I was torn over Jake’s decision to keep Michelle around for at least one more week, the girl is completely nuts but because of this she is sure to bring more entertainment the longer she stays. The only other girl that I took note of was Elizabeth. She came off as more of an actress than she did genuine so I was ecstatic when she was snubbed and Tenley ended up getting the first impression rose.

Bad Girls Club: I’m kind of loving Kate’s ignorant butt. She gave Flo and Natalie a little taste of their own medicine and has Annie completely pegged:

“I don’t understand why Annie’s here. It’s like she’s a little girl who got lost on her way to Grandma’s house and ended up at the Bad Girls house.”

Keeping Up With The Kardashians: Why did I get a warm fuzzy feeling when Bruce called Kris a bitch?

I got a little caught up (re: overwhelmed) with the season and wanted to relax every available opportunity so I could actually enjoy the holidays. Rihanna Speaks Out: What advice did Rihanna give to anyone that might find themselves head over heals in a possibly abusive relationship? F love, take a step back, and don’t let it blind you from seeing the truth. Hooray to Rihanna for finally speaking out and realizing the part she plays as a role model to many young girls. Although I think she did an excellent job of conveying her story I don’t know if we’ve heard the entire tale. I highly doubt that this was the first abusive incident between her and Chris Brown. And I was a little disappointed with her hesitation to tell Diane Sawyer that she and Chris are over forever. I think a lot of people are in agreement with me and don’t buy any of his televised apologies they are far from being sincere. I personally think that without remorse there can’t be forgiveness.
